Been feeling a little ‘moody’ lately?
There couldn’t be a new moon that was more about the moon herself than this month…. because it’s in the astrological sign of cancer, which is itself ruled by the moon!
This month I talk more than usual about the astrological patterns happening, because I am seeing very clearly the HUGE opportunities that are being presented to us, especially right now as we are being invited to go deep into our real, authentic emotions. You could be tempted to write-off your shifty, moony, tidal feelings right now, but more than likely you will be drawn into your deeper currents anyway, because of the larger planets and patterns at play. But like I said, it’s an opportunity! So the intention of this BodyTalk session is to get you into balance with your authentic, emotional self while also connecting more with powerful, positive emotions. You can download the session now here
I’ve also had a big realisation this month about why the new moon is such a powerful time for manifestation, for planting seeds of whatever we would like to create….at the time of the new moon, what is actually happening is that the sun and the moon appear to be in the same place in the sky almost. The sun represents our personality self, and on a deeper level, the part of us that embraces infinite possibilities and unity with all life, or source within you. The moon represents our emotional self and also habit patterns we have formed often unconsciously. So right now it’s like the sun and the moon are on the same page because they are under the same influence.
If you’ve done any work with visualisations or affirmations before then you probably already understand that it is the power of our feelings that we really need to harness if they are going to work. If you’ve become disappointed from trying positive thinking and finding nothing has changed, it could be because your heart and mind are not on the same page so to speak. So today’s affirmation “In the ocean of my emotion, I am at home with ebb and flow” is all about balancing our emotional self, because the sign of cancer is so devoted to feelings, security, our sense of home and connections to others particularly our own early family.
